myspace is like internet circa 1996. lotsa flashy blinky lights, music (not so much midi anymore,) huge tiling backgrounds, animated gifs, and scrolling marquees..
I agree!!! I did read an article that basically states that 99% of the users on MySpace like that stuff. The fact that they actually allow it may be one of the reasons it’s so damn popular. Unlike MySpace, Vox is trying to be a community bloging type site that actually looks good.

The blinking things, annoying auto-playing music, and… aw fuckit.
I hate that shit, the site is slow and fucks up all the goddamn time. It’s kinda like AIM though, everyone has a myspace. So i put up. I use some nice firefox tricks to block most of the crap though :). Yay Firefox!
