why buy expensive timed webcam software? the one included with my cam doesn’t have an ability to upload. plus, it’s dumb looking. XP Power Toys has an app called Webcam Timershot that is free. it works nicely. simple interface. gg microsoft. unfortunately, there’s no support for my webcam in linux yet, so i can’t leave it plugged into my webserver.
If your link is correct, and you have a Quickcam Messenger… there’s a couple of experimental drivers, one of which is right here for kernel 2.6 Dunno what you’re running, and too lazy to poke around and see if you mention it… but thought I’d let you know.
Umm, yeah, I just saw that you’re running kernel 2.4+, so here is a link to one that should work on your kernel. Umm… yeah.
